Hello everyone,
I know I have not been keeping you up-to-date with where I am, I normally make it a rule to reply back to as many e-mails as I can, but I've even slacked with that too. This is the first blog in months.
To tell the truth I have not written a single word on anything novel wise since early January 2010. Only my close friends knew that my mother was suffering with bowel cancer, she has been since 2007. She is doing very well and staying very strong.
Then midway through 2009 my wife herself had a cancer scare, luckily we found out a week ago, that for the moment all is fine once more.
My head was not in the correct frame to write anything. But now we are all in a happy mindset once again, we are all looking to the future and once again I am writing, to me it's seeming like I'm catching up with old friends.
I have read through what I have written so far with Kingdom of Blood, I plan on changing a chapter before I move forward though, as I'm not happy with one of them. I wish there was more hours in a day, and I dream that one day I can find the luxury to be just a writer, a dream that I will continue to chase, you never know one day I may catch it...
