A fallen Angel stands with them, both sinner and saint. His decision made to aid the mortals, to protect them... But the line between good and evil is a thin one. The Awakening... Is upon us

Prologue

The cold fever seemed to be getting worse, her brow was damp with a cold sweat. Her skin was taking on the look of pale porcelain, blue veins that held a hint of purple travelled from her temples along both sides of her face leading down towards her neck. Almost every vein within her was starting to look just as the ones on her face did, with the hunger only getting stronger. Tina had been getting progressively worse by the day, Nathaniel the very same night that they burned the manner house, acquired a supply of blood that was encased within Intravenous blood packs. Tina refused to drink, but she was only making herself worse, she was putting those around her in danger. Nathaniel was surprised that her urge to hunt, to drink and ultimately to kill had not overridden her willpower not too. It had been three weeks since they battled their way out of the manner house and set fire to it, cremating the beheaded corpses of the fallen vampires within. The nightclub was not as badly damaged as they once had thought, sure the fire damage was extensive but it could be rebuilt. Sure it would cost thousands to repair, but in time it could be a business and a home once again. Lisa was letting them stay with her, both herself and Tony was sleeping in the living room, Lisa got the sofa while Tony made do with a chair leaving Tina in the only bedroom the apartment held. Nathaniel was mostly there as well. He was ridden with guilt, blaming himself for what Tina now was, by all rights he should take her head and burn her body to stop her before she hunts and starts to take mortal lives. But he knows that not all vampires fed from humans, some but not many used to drink only the blood of animals, most of the tame ones as they had become to be known from others of their kind, since the advancements of modern medicine, drank from the same IV blood packs as Nathaniel was trying to get Tina to drink from. This was human blood, and drinking it let the vampires walk among the mortals with the hunger subsided, to live as one of them. But with temptation always within reach. Lathran was still alive, but they trapped him in a portal of his own creation, but with the power he now held Nathaniel was sure that he would find a way out of the realm of which he was trapped within and seek vengeance upon them. He now held the full vampiric powers of a pureblood, no longer trapped by the night, his bite alone could now create a new stronger coven of vampires, he now could day walk. Not a full pureblood as Tina now was, for she could walk within the light of the day with no adverse effects from the light of the sun. Lathran could do the same but daylight would cause him irritation and anyone he turns could just about tolerate the light. With Lathran trapped, the remains of his chosen overseers fallen coven was still loose, Lantis himself fell at the hands of Nathaniel, but Nathaniels first concern was Tina. Once he has her stable he would begin his hunt for the remains of Lathran and Lantiss fallen coven. He knew that he had to act soon, for every sunset, could breed more of the hunters of the night...
Thats all you're getting for now, for all those who asked, and for those who just read this Blog, I hope you liked it. But for now take care, and thanks for stopping by.
Darren.
